with a customer, Pat Fragomeni, Regional Manager for
Janitronics, a large New York cleaning contractor, that
reveals how one of their products has helped his
business.
Q: Pat, Janitronics purchased U.S. Products’ King
Cobra 1200 dual-surface extractors to reduce labor
costs. The King Cobra 1200 cleans both floors and
carpets. Did it work?
A: Without question! I estimate we’ve saved thousands
of dollars in labor costs over the past year.
Q: How does your crew like the machine?
A: Employees are often resistant to trying something
new. But the “KC 1200” has been well received. For
instance, they like the 25-foot hose reel system. Any
time floor technicians can go farther without needing to
reposition the machine, they save steps and become more
productive. And, they like being able to clean carpets
and then, with the switch of the wand, clean
hard-surface floors.
Q: Did you have a specific problem location where
you put the KC 1200 to the test?
A: Yes, a culinary school. The kitchen is quarry
tile, and we just could not get the floor and grout
areas cleaned. The King Cobra 1200 cleaned the floor
better than ever before—so good, we call it “KC- Clean.”
Now, whenever we run into a heavily soiled floor, we
just KC-Clean it.
Q: Do you think the KC 1200 is a Green machine?
A: Because it just uses powerful jets of water to
clean hard-surface floors, definitely. And because it is
also a low-moisture extractor, I think the KC 1200 is
unquestionably a Green machine.
