Coeur d' Alene, ID - Jan 10, 2006 - Last year, Jeff St. George of First Response Carpet Cleaning, Dallas, Texas, decided it was time to purchase a new low-moisture carpet extractor. And, after almost 20 years in the business, he knew exactly what he wanted—but did not believe any company was manufacturing the type of extractor he longed for.

“Of course, I wanted a low-moisture machine,” says St. George. “With all the talk today about Green Cleaning, buying a traditional extractor now is like buying a black-and-white TV.”

St. George also said he wanted a tank-less machine, which can be directly connected to a sink to provide water and remove wastewater. This helps improve worker productivity.

And finally, he wanted a machine that looks good and is quiet. “We’re bringing these extractors into our customers’ homes,” he says. “I don’t want to scare them with some big, noisy box that looks like a rolling refrigerator.”

Believing such a machine was found only in his dreams, St. George was quite surprised when he was introduced to the Agitator 20 from U.S. Products. The Agitator 20 is a self-contained, low-moisture carpet extractor. Its 80-foot direct hose hookup provides hot-water solution, chemical injection, and automatic water removal.

The machine also has an agitator, a patented nylon-loop agitator that gently agitates carpet, improving cleaning effectiveness and soil extraction. It’s also safe for most all carpet fibers and even self- cleaning.

“But, two of the things I like the most are that the Agitator 20 really looks good and it’s so quiet,” says St. George. “It’s designed like a sleek, hushed vacuum cleaner; it’s light, the ergonomics are great, and my customers get goggle-eyed just looking at it.”
